Kasimpasa vs Kayserispor

ISTANBUL (Interstat) — A crucial Süper Lig match for both clubs will see Kasımpaşa host Kayserispor on Saturday, with each team looking to build momentum from narrow midweek victories.

The match at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium pits two sides separated by just a few points in the middle of the Turkish top-flight table. The visitors from Kayseri hold a slight psychological edge, having won a five-goal thriller when the teams last met in November 2025, coming out on top 3-2.

Both teams enter the contest having snapped recent slides with 1-0 home wins on Thursday, March 19. Kayserispor defeated Fatih Karagümrük, while Kasımpaşa fell 2-1 away to Beşiktaş despite a competitive showing.

Form, however, has been inconsistent for each squad. Kayserispor’s win over Karagümrük was only its second victory in its last eight league matches, a stretch that included heavy defeats to Galatasaray and Trabzonspor. Kasımpaşa has managed just two wins in its last nine outings, though it secured a notable draw at Fenerbahçe in late February.

The statistical service Interstat projects a tightly contested draw, simulating a final score of 1-1.

For Kayserispor, the match is the first of a challenging April that includes fixtures against Fenerbahçe and Gaziantep. Kasımpaşa will look to use home advantage before facing a difficult trip to Göztepe next weekend.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT) on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
