IZMIR, Turkiye (Interstat) — Galatasaray began its Süper Lig campaign with a 3-1 win over Goztepe on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Gürsel Aksel Stadyumu.

Substitute Barış Alper Yılmaz sparked the visitors, scoring just five minutes after entering and adding an assist. Defender Allan Godói doubled the lead in the 19th minute before Goztepe’s Juan Santos cut the deficit just after halftime. Galatasaray substitute Mario Lemina sealed the victory with a 75th-minute goal.
