A'ali CSC vs Sitra
A’ALI, Bahrain (Interstat) — A’ali CSC will host Sitra on Monday, April 27, in a Bahrain Premier League matchup that carries contrasting momentum — and a simulator projection favoring the home side.
A’ali CSC enters the game after a 1-0 loss at Al Riffa on April 17, snapping a two-match winning streak. The team has posted five wins, two draws and three losses in its last 10 league outings. A’ali CSC has been particularly stingy at home, with three clean sheets in its past four matches at its own ground. The club’s last home defeat came Feb. 27 against Al Khaldiya SC.
Sitra, meanwhile, arrives after a 3-1 defeat at home to Al Khaldiya SC on April 18. That loss extended a troubling trend: Sitra has lost seven of its past 10 league matches, with only two wins and one draw in that span. The visitors have been outscored 17-7 in those 10 games. Their most recent victory came March 12, a 3-0 result at Budaiya.
The two sides last met Dec. 19, 2025, playing to a scoreless draw at Sitra. That result continued a pattern of low-scoring affairs; the previous three head-to-head matches have produced a combined two goals, with A’ali CSC winning 1-0 in their last meeting before that draw.
A’ali CSC’s recent form includes a 2-1 win over Bahrain SC on April 2, a 1-0 victory at Malkiya on March 14, and a 2-1 triumph over Al Hidd on Dec. 26. The team has relied on a disciplined defense, allowing more than one goal only twice in its last 10 matches.
Sitra’s struggles have been most pronounced away from home. The visiting side has lost five of its last six road games, including a 4-0 defeat at Muharraq on April 3 and a 3-1 loss at Al Riffa on Jan. 28. The lone bright spot on the road was a 3-1 win at Khalidiya on Jan. 25.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-0 victory for A’ali CSC, consistent with the home team’s defensive solidity and Sitra’s recent offensive woes.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time at A’ali Stadium.
