MANAMA, Bahrain (Interstat) — Muharraq hosts Budaiya on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in a Bahrain Premier League fixture at a venue to be announced. A game simulator by Interstat projects a 2-0 victory for the home side.

The matchup renews a series dominated by Muharraq of late. The clubs last met Dec. 19, 2025, when Muharraq posted a 1-0 win at Budaiya.

Muharraq enters the contest on a four-match unbeaten run. The club last played April 16, earning a 1-0 victory at Al Hidd. Overall this season, Muharraq has compiled a 7-2-2 record in its last 11 outings, with notable wins including a 7-0 thrashing of Bahrain SC on Feb. 20 and a 6-0 rout of Isa Town on Feb. 2. The club’s only loss in that span came April 11, a 2-1 defeat at Al Ahli Club.

Budaiya travels to Manama with inconsistent form. The visitors last played April 16, winning 2-1 at Al Najma. That result snapped a three-match losing streak in which Budaiya was outscored 8-0, including a 3-0 loss at Sitra on March 12 and a 3-0 defeat at home to Al Riffa on Feb. 19. Prior to that slide, Budaiya posted a 3-0 victory at Bahrain SC on Feb. 14 and played Al Ahli Club to a scoreless draw on Feb. 5.

The visitors’ season record against Muharraq stands at one loss. Budaiya has also dropped matches to Al Hidd, Sitra and Manama.

Muharraq’s next league fixture is Monday, May 4, at Al Najma. Budaiya hosts Al Khaldiya SC on Sunday, May 3.
