MANAMA, Bahrain (April 18, 2026) (Interstat) — Al Khaldiya SC scored twice in the final minutes to secure a 3-1 victory over Sitra in a Bahrain Premier League match Saturday at Al Ahli Stadium.

The result defied pregame projections that favored the home side. Al Khaldiya SC broke a deadlock in the 81st minute when Nizar El Otmani scored, then sealed the win with Bruno Bezerra’s goal in the 87th minute.

The visiting club begins its league campaign with a win, while Sitra starts with a loss. Both teams’ records across all competitions mirror their opening league results.
