VUKOVAR, North Macedonia (Interstat) — GFK Tikvesh Kavadarci defeated Pelister 2-0 on Saturday at Gradski Stadion in Vukovar, the first match of the First League season for both sides.

Kristijan Ackovski opened the scoring in the 29th minute. Tikvesh added a second goal later to seal the victory, though the scorer of the second goal was not immediately listed. The win gave Tikvesh a 1-0 record in league play and across all competitions.
