PÁFOS, Cyprus (Interstat) — Apollon and Pafos played to a 1-1 draw in a 1. Division match Sunday at Stadio Stelios Kyriakides.

The visiting side took the lead in the 15th minute on a goal by Quina. Pafos equalized 20 minutes later when Ivan Ljubic found the net. The result extended Apollon’s strong league form, leaving the club with 15 wins and only three losses this domestic season. Pafos, which had been projected as a heavy favorite by a statistical model pregame, now holds a record of 12 wins and six losses in league play. The draw split the season series after each team won on its home pitch in their two previous meetings.
