ZAGREB, Croatia (Interstat) — Czechia U19 opened its UEFA Under-19 Championship qualification campaign with a commanding 5-0 victory over Georgia U19 on Saturday at Igralište Lučkog.

Adéla Trachtová led the rout with a hat trick, scoring in the 31st, 45th+2 and 52nd minutes. Natálie Boháčová opened the scoring in the fourth minute. The Czech attack overwhelmed the Georgian defense, which saw three players — Natia Jojua, Mariami Kakulia and Lolita Kaloiani — each record an assist on their own goal. Five yellow cards were issued in the physical match.

The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored Georgia. Czechia improves to 1-0 in the qualifying group, while Georgia falls to 0-1.
