ROGOZHINË, Albania (Interstat) — Turkey U19 delivered a commanding performance Wednesday, routing Montenegro U19 5-0 in a UEFA U19 Championship qualification match at Egnatia Arena.

The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored Montenegro. Turkey’s substitutes provided all the scoring, with Lucia Özkur opening the account in the seventh minute. Ela Yetim and Sude Öztaş added second-half goals in the 63rd and 71st minutes, respectively. Late goals from Zeynep Bilir and Yaren Ersen completed the rout.

Montenegro’s frustration showed with four yellow cards, including bookings for Jelena Nikčević and Darija Čižek, who each recorded an assist in the losing effort. Turkey begins its qualifying campaign with a win, while Montenegro seeks its first victory.
