Preview: Pineto Calcio Hosts AC Bra in Serie C Clash

ROME (Interstat) — A mid-table Serie C fixture sees Pineto Calcio host AC Bra on Saturday with both sides seeking consistency in the final stretch of the season.

The match at Stadio Comunale di Pineto kicks off at 2:45 p.m. local time (1345 GMT).

Pineto (8-7-10) looks to rebound after a 1-0 away loss to US Pianese on March 8 snapped a brief winning momentum. Their form at home has been mixed, with just one win in their last five league matches at the Comunale.

A key threat for the hosts will be forward Luca Schirone. He scored the opening goal in Pineto’s last victory, a 3-2 win over FC Forli on March 4, before being substituted early. His pace will test Bra’s back line.

Visiting AC Bra (7-11-7) arrives after a 1-1 home draw with the same Pianese side on March 1. Bra has been difficult to beat lately, losing only once in its last eight league outings across all competitions. That run includes a 1-0 home win over AS Gubbio 1910 on Jan. 31 and a 2-1 victory over Ravenna FC on Jan. 18.

However, Bra’s campaign has been defined by draws, with a league-high 11 this season. Their away record is similarly streaky, featuring wins at Rimini (2-1) and Pontedera (2-0) but also losses at Ternana (2-0) and SS Arezzo (2-1).

The statistical service Interstat projects a 1-1 draw, a result that would extend Bra’s tendency for shared points and do little to boost Pineto’s playoff aspirations.

In their previous meeting this season on Oct. 5, 2025, Bra edged Pineto 1-0 at home on a goal from Filippo Berra.

Saturday’s match is one of 10 scheduled across Serie C’s Girone B.
