VIENNA (Interstat) — SV Oberbank Ried hosts Wolfsberger on Saturday, May 9, in an Austrian Bundesliga matchup at a site to be determined.

The teams enter the fixture with contrasting recent momentum. Wolfsberger brings a four-goal outburst from a 4-1 win Monday over Rheindorf Alt II. SV Oberbank Ried counters with a 2-0 victory Saturday over B-W Linz.

The head-to-head series has been tight. In their last three meetings, SV Oberbank Ried holds a 2-0-1 advantage with two clean sheets. The clubs played to a 0-0 draw April 11. Ried won 1-0 on Nov. 29, 2025, and 2-1 on Oct. 18, 2025.

Wolfsberger (7-9-13 overall this season) has been inconsistent. The squad followed a 1-0 win over Grazer AK 1902 W on April 25 with a 3-0 loss at B-W Linz on April 21. SV Oberbank Ried (9-8-12) has been stronger at home. After the 2-0 shutout of B-W Linz, Ried lost 1-0 at WSG Tirol on April 25 but earned a 2-1 win over Grazer AK 1902 W on April 21. A 3-2 loss to Tirol U18 on April 18 preceded the 0-0 draw with Wolfsberger. Ried’s offense has averaged 1.3 goals per match.
