ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands (Interstat) — Lion Heart earned a 2-0 victory over Wolues in a BVIFA National League match Sunday at A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground.

Gregory Morgan broke a scoreless deadlock in the 57th minute. Cory Hylton sealed the win with a goal in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time.

The result improved Lion Heart’s league record to 5-3-2. Wolues fell to 5-5-1. The outcome defied a pregame statistical projection that favored Wolues with a 52.2% win probability and forecast a 2-2 draw. Lion Heart has now won both head-to-head meetings this season.
