FREDERICIA, Denmark (Interstat) — Fredericia hosts Odense BK on Sunday in a Danish Superliga clash, with both teams jockeying for position in the crowded middle of the table. Odense enters with a three-match winning streak against Fredericia this season, but the home side is looking to snap that run.

The defeat snapped a two-game winning streak for Odense, which had beaten Randers 3-1 and edged Fredericia 1-0 on April 6. The visitors’ form has been inconsistent: they have alternated wins, losses and draws over their past six outings, including a 3-1 loss at Silkeborg on April 12.

Fredericia (3-4-5 in its last 12) played to a 2-2 draw at Randers on Thursday. That result followed a 2-2 draw at Silkeborg on April 19 and a 2-2 draw at home against Vejle BK W on April 13. The home side has not lost in regulation in three matches, though it has not won in that span either. Fredericia’s last victory came March 22, a 2-1 win at FC Kobenhavn.

The head-to-head history this season heavily favors Odense. On April 6, Odense won 1-0 at home. On Dec. 5, Odense won 3-1 at Fredericia. On Sept. 19, Odense won 3-2 at home. Odense has outscored Fredericia 7-3 in those three meetings.
