MANTOVA, Italy (Interstat) — Tommaso Marras scored in the 84th minute to give Mantova a 1-0 victory over Virtus Entella in a Serie B match Monday at Stadio Danilo Martelli.

The lone breakthrough came late as Marras finished a play assisted by Ali Dembélé. The goal decided a contest that saw seven yellow cards issued, including one to Marras shortly after his score. Mantova improved its league record to seven wins, 15 losses and four draws. Virtus Entella, which defeated Mantova in the reverse fixture in September, fell to 5-12-5 in Serie B play. The result aligned with pregame projections that favored Mantova.
