CESENA, Italy (Interstat) — Cesena and Suditrol opened their Serie B campaigns with a 1-1 draw Monday at Orogel Stadium - Dino Manuzzi.

The match, played April 6, 2026, was decided by early goals from substitutes. Suditrol’s Fabian Tait opened the scoring in the third minute. Cesena’s Federico Davi equalized in the 17th minute, assisted by Simone Davì. Davi also provided the helper on Tait’s opener.

The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the home side. Three yellow cards were issued in a contest that left both clubs with an identical record of zero wins, zero losses and one draw to start the season.
