FROSINONE, Italy (Interstat) — Frosinone continued its unbeaten run in Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Padova on Sunday at Stadio Benito Stirpe.

The hosts secured the result with two quick first-half goals. Forward Antonio Raimondo opened the scoring in the 25th minute before midfielder Francesco Gelli doubled the lead just four minutes later, also contributing an assist. Gelli, Raimondo and substitutes Kevin Varas and Lorenzo Crisetig, who each had an assist, were key performers.

Padova failed to score, extending its struggles. The loss leaves Padova with a record of 6 wins, 10 losses and 7 draws in the league. Frosinone, the clear favorite with an 80% win probability pregame, improved to 12 wins and 3 draws without a loss this Serie B season, defying a simulator’s projection of a 1-1 draw.
