KIGOMA, Tanzania (March 19, 2026) (Interstat) — Mashujaa FC and azam FC played to a 0-0 draw Thursday in a Ligi kuu Bara match at Lake Tanganyika Stadium.

The match, defined more by physicality than scoring chances, featured seven yellow cards. Elias Lawi of azam FC received the first booking in the 40th minute. The second half saw six more cautions, including two in the 73rd minute to azam’s Himid Mao and Mashujaa’s Sadio Kanouté.

The result leaves azam FC undefeated in the domestic league this season with seven wins and eight draws. Mashujaa FC’s record in the competition moves to four wins, six losses and nine draws. Both projections from Interstat were off the mark, as its game simulator predicted a 1-0 azam win while its ELO system gave Mashujaa a 59.1% chance to win.
