MORERA DE CÓNEGOS, Portugal (March 21, 2026) (Interstat) — Substitute Miguel Puche García scored in the 67th minute to give Arouca a 1-0 victory over Moreirense in a Primeira Liga match Saturday.

The game’s only goal came against the run of statistical projections, which favored Arouca but forecast a draw. Puche García finished a sequence assisted by defender Maracás and substitutes Pablo Gozalbez and Dylan Nandín, who also received yellow cards alongside Maracás.

The win at Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas gives Arouca a winning start to its league campaign, while Moreirense begins with a loss.
