ZANICA, Italy (Interstat) — Vicenza earned a narrow 1-0 away victory over UC AlbinoLeffe in a Serie C match on Saturday.

The lone goal secured three points for the visiting side at AlbinoLeffe Stadium. The result marked the opening match for both clubs in this specific competition for the season, leaving each with a 0-0 record in Serie C play.

The win continues a strong run of form for Vicenza, which has now won four of its last five matches across all competitions. Vicenza also defeated AlbinoLeffe 3-1 in their previous meeting last October. AlbinoLeffe, struggling for consistency, has managed just one win in its last five outings.
