GUBBIO, Italy (Interstat) — Tommaso Ghirardello’s 82nd-minute goal gave AS Gubbio 1910 a 1-0 victory over Guidonia Montecelio FC in a Serie C match Sunday at Stadio Comunale.

The lone strike decided a tight contest, handing the visiting Gubbio its first league win of the season. Guidonia, the home side, failed to find an equalizer in the closing minutes.

The result improved Gubbio’s Serie C record to one win and no losses, while Guidonia fell to no wins and one loss. The match was a reversal of the teams’ October meeting, which Guidonia won 2-0.
