AMMAN, Jordan (Interstat) — Al Jazeera Club and visiting Al Ahli SC played to a 2-2 draw in a Jordanian League match Friday at Petra Stadium.

The match defied pregame projections, as Interstat’s game simulator had forecast a 3-1 win for Al Jazeera Club, which held an 84.2% win probability.

Al Jazeera’s Zaid Abu Al Rish opened the scoring in the 25th minute before Al Ahli’s Khaled Dader equalized just before halftime. Defender Yaser Al Rawashdeh put the hosts ahead again in the 71st minute, but Al Ahli’s Omar Khader answered just a minute later for the final margin. Both teams remain winless early in the season, with identical records of 0-0-1.
