NJERU, Uganda (Interstat) — UPDF FC delivered a stunning 5-2 victory over BUL FC on Tuesday at the FUFA Technical Centre, defying heavy pregame projections.

The visiting side, which entered the match with only four wins in the Ugandan Super League this season, dominated the home team from the outset. The result avenged a 1-0 loss to BUL FC from their meeting on Jan. 30.

The lopsided win improves UPDF FC’s league record to 5 wins, 14 losses and 5 draws. BUL FC, which was given an 80.4% probability to win by a national statistical service, falls to 8 wins, 9 losses and 6 draws.

Both teams continue their Super League schedules on Friday.
