KAMPALA, Uganda (Interstat) — Vipers and SC Villa played to a 1-1 draw in the Ugandan Super League on Wednesday at Kadiba Stadium.

Substitute Hilary Mukundane broke the deadlock for the visiting Vipers with a header in the 65th minute, assisted by Enock Ssebagala. SC Villa responded instantly, with Frank Ssebufu equalizing just two minutes later off a helper from substitute Isaac Ogwang.

The frantic two-minute sequence defined a physical match that featured four yellow cards. The result leaves Vipers unbeaten in league play at 15-0-7. SC Villa’s record moves to 11-4-7. The teams also drew in their previous meeting last November.
