KAMPALA, Uganda (Interstat) — BUL FC and Uganda Revenue Authority FC played to a 1-1 draw in a Ugandan Super League match Thursday at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium.

Substitute Richard Okello opened the scoring for the visiting BUL FC in the 34th minute. Uganda Revenue Authority FC equalized before halftime when forward Bruno Bunyaga scored in the 48th minute, assisted by substitute Rwothomio Innocent. Innocent received a yellow card in first-half stoppage time.

The result leaves BUL FC with a season record of 8-8-7 in league play. Uganda Revenue Authority FC’s record moves to 4-9-6. A statistical projection had narrowly favored the home side to win. The teams played to a scoreless draw in their previous meeting last September.
