LUZIRA, Uganda (Interstat) — Maroons and UPDF FC played to a 0-0 draw in the Ugandan Super League on Saturday at Luzira Prisons Ground.

The match failed to produce a goal despite key contributions from substitutes. Steven Kawuka and Enrique Lubwama for UPDF FC, along with Maroons’ Norman Odipio, were credited with assists in the stalemate. All three players also received yellow cards during the contest.

The result leaves Maroons with a 6-6-7 record in league play. UPDF FC, still seeking its first win since early December, moves to 3-13-5. The visiting side has now lost just once in its last four outings after a string of defeats. Maroons had been projected as a heavy favorite to win the match.
