FLORENCE, Italy (Interstat) — Fiorentina and Parma opened their Serie A campaigns with a 0-0 draw Sunday at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The match, played March 8, 2026, failed to produce a goal despite several key contributions. Defender Dodô, midfielder Rolando Mandragora and substitute Christian Ordoñez each recorded an assist in the stalemate. The physical contest saw three yellow cards issued, with Ordoñez booked in the 54th minute, Mandragora in the 61st and Dodô in the 90th.

The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat, which gave Fiorentina a 67.3 percent probability to win and forecast a 1-1 draw. Both clubs now hold identical records of 0-0-1 in Serie A and across all competitions to start the season.
