ABHA, Saudi Arabia (Interstat) — Valentin Vada and Arielson each scored a goal as Damac Saudi Club defeated Al Okhdood SC 2-0 on Thursday in a Saudi Pro League match at Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium.

Arielson put Damac ahead in the 18th minute with a left-footed goal. Vada doubled the lead in the 88th minute with a right-footed strike. Mateo Borrell and Nawaf Al Saadi each recorded an assist.

Borrell received a yellow card in the 43rd minute. Tariq Mohammed and Al Saadi were cautioned in the 74th.

Damac improved to 5-9-5 in competition play and 5-10-5 overall. Al Okhdood fell to 3-15-3 in the league and 4-16-3 across all competitions.

The win avenged Damac’s 1-0 loss to Al Okhdood on Dec. 30, 2025. Al Okhdood has lost three of its last four league matches, including a 2-0 defeat to Al Nassr on April 11. Damac is unbeaten in its last two league games after a 1-1 draw with Al Qadisiyah on April 9.

Interstat’s game simulator had projected a final score of Damac 2, Al Okhdood 0, and its ELO system gave Damac a 74 percent probability to win.
