Al Khaldiya SC vs A'ali CSC
Preview: King’s Cup Clash Pits Al Khaldiya Against A’ali
MANAMA, Bahrain (Interstat) — A lopsided recent run of form will be put to the test Friday when Al Khaldiya SC hosts A’ali CSC in a King’s Cup matchup.
The game is scheduled for Feb. 27, 2026.
Al Khaldiya enters with momentum from a dominant 7-0 victory over Al Hala SC on Feb. 3 in its last known outing. A’ali, meanwhile, looks to rebound from a 1-0 home defeat to Al Shabab on Feb. 19 that snapped a promising streak.
Prior to that loss, A’ali CSC had been in strong domestic form, winning three consecutive Bahraini Premier League matches. Those included a 2-1 away win over Al Ahli on Feb. 12 and consecutive 2-0 victories over Al Najma Club on Feb. 5 and Jan. 28. Their overall recent record shows four wins, one draw and one loss in their last six league fixtures, though the defeat to Al Shabab is their most recent result.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-0 victory for the home side, Al Khaldiya.
The King’s Cup, a knockout tournament organized by the Bahrain Football Association, adds a layer of urgency as both teams vie for silverware outside the league structure.
For A’ali, the cup offers a chance to quickly move past the frustration of their shutout loss. Their attack, which had produced multiple goals in recent wins, will need to rediscover its form against an Al Khaldiya side that just demonstrated ruthless efficiency.
Al Khaldiya will aim to carry its explosive scoring touch from the Al Hala match into the cup tie and defend its home pitch.
The winner advances in the tournament, while the loser’s cup campaign ends.
Following this match, A’ali CSC returns to Premier League play with a visit to Malkiya on March 6. Al Khaldiya’s next scheduled fixture was not immediately available.
