Legentus FC Hosts Fursan Hispania FC in FA Cup Round of 16 Clash

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (Interstat) — A spot in the FA Cup quarterfinals is on the line Tuesday when Legentus FC hosts Fursan Hispania FC in a knockout-stage match.

The fixture, organized by the United Arab Emirates Football Association, is scheduled for March 3, 2026.

Legentus enters the match in dominant form, having secured a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Falcon FC in its most recent outing on Feb. 10. That performance extended a strong run for the club, which also defeated United Sport FC 3-1 on Nov. 14.

In contrast, Fursan Hispania last played nearly four months ago, edging Dubai Irish FC 1-0 on Nov. 14, 2025. Its previous result was a 1-0 win at Baynounah SC on Nov. 9. The lengthy layoff presents a significant unknown regarding the team’s match fitness and sharpness.

The statistical outlook heavily favors the home side. Interstat’s game simulator projects a decisive 4-0 victory for Legentus FC. This prediction aligns with Legentus’s recent offensive output, having scored three goals in each of its last two documented matches.

Fursan Hispania will rely on a resilient defensive record from its autumn fixtures, having kept clean sheets in its two most recent contests. However, containing Legentus’s attack, which has demonstrated consistent scoring prowess, will be its greatest challenge.

The match pits Legentus’s high-powered attack against Fursan Hispania’s organized, but potentially rusty, defense. The extended break for the visitors could lead to a slow start, which Legentus will look to exploit early.

Kickoff is set for Tuesday evening at a venue to be determined in the UAE. The winner will advance to the FA Cup quarterfinal draw.
