Roma and Juventus Battle to 3‑3 Draw in Wild Serie A Clash at Stadio Olimpico

ROME (Interstat) — AS Roma and Juventus played to a thrilling 3-3 draw in Serie A action Sunday at Stadio Olimpico, defying pregame projections.

Interstat’s models heavily favored Juventus and predicted a low-scoring affair, but the teams combined for six goals. Defender Wesley opened the scoring for Juventus in the 39th minute and later added an assist. Roma responded with two quick goals from Francisco Conceição and Evan N’Dicka early in the second half.

Juventus forward Donyell Malen equalized in the 65th minute, only for Roma’s Jérémie Boga to put the hosts ahead again. Federico Gatti secured the dramatic draw for Juventus with a goal in the third minute of stoppage time. Wesley also received a first-half yellow card.

Both clubs opened their Serie A seasons with a draw.
