FÈS, Morocco (Interstat) — Khalid Boutaïb scored in the second minute of stoppage time to salvage a 1-1 draw for Kawkab Marrakech against unbeaten Maghreb Fes in a Botola Pro match Friday at Complexe Sportif de Fès.

The home side took the lead in the 55th minute when Soufiane Benjdida headed in a service from defender Ayman Chabani. Kawkab Marrakech played a man down after Adam Brika received a red card in the 80th minute, but found a dramatic equalizer. Substitute Ismail Mihrab, who entered after the red card, assisted Boutaïb’s late right-footed finish.

The result extends Maghreb Fes’s undefeated run to 11 matches in the domestic competition. Kawkab Marrakech, which saw three players booked, ended a three-match scoring drought. The draw was the exact scoreline projected by Interstat’s game simulator, despite its system giving the hosts an 89% probability to win.
