GETAFE, Spain (March 8, 2026) (Interstat) — Getafe began its La Liga campaign with a 2-0 victory over Real Betis on Sunday at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Defender Femenía Far led the hosts, scoring the opening goal in the 28th minute and assisting on a strike by forward Martín Satriano in first-half stoppage time. The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat, which gave Getafe a 53.3% win probability and forecast a 1-1 draw.

Getafe’s defense secured the clean sheet despite five combined yellow cards, including one for Far. The win gives Getafe a perfect start to the season, while Real Betis opens with a loss in league play.
