BANDAR-E ANZALI, Iran (Interstat) — Malavan Bandar Anzali FC and Tractor Sazi FC played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in a Persian Gulf Pro League match at Takhti Stadium.

Tractor Sazi’s Mohammad Mohammadi opened the scoring in the 58th minute, positioning the visitors for a victory that aligned with pregame statistical projections. However, Malavan’s Danial Esmaeilifar netted a dramatic equalizer in the 87th minute to salvage the result.

The draw leaves both clubs with identical records in league play: no wins, no losses and one draw to begin their campaigns. The outcome defied the narrow pregame forecast that slightly favored Tractor Sazi.
