Late Belarus Equalizer Secures Draw in UEFA U19 Qualifier
KEHLEN, Luxembourg (March 2, 2026) (Interstat) — Belarus U19 scored in the 88th minute to salvage a 1-1 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina U19 in a UEFA U19 Championship qualification match Monday at Stade Albert Berchem.
Ana Jurić gave Bosnia and Herzegovina an early lead, scoring just six minutes into the contest. The visitors held that advantage for most of the match despite a yellow card to Amila Abdukić in the 24th minute. Belarus, which received a yellow card to Dyjana Kacyniel in the 70th, pressed late and found the equalizer when Kacyniel redeemed herself with the tying goal two minutes from full time.
The result leaves Belarus still seeking its first qualification win this cycle, now with three losses and one draw. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s record in the competition moves to one win, two losses and one draw. Both teams play their next qualifiers on Thursday.
