PAU, France (Interstat) — Substitute Lucas Stassin scored twice to lead Saint-Etienne II to a 3-0 victory over Pau in a French Ligue 2 match Saturday at Stade Nouste Camp.

Stassin opened the scoring just three minutes into the match and added a second goal in the 64th minute. Fellow substitute Josh Duffus completed the scoring in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time. Midfielder Daylam Meddah provided an assist.

The result improved Saint-Etienne II’s league record to 11 wins, 7 losses and 3 draws. Pau fell to 6-8-4. The visitors dominated despite Interstat’s pregame projections favoring Pau. Four yellow cards were issued in a contentious first half.

Saint-Etienne II next hosts Red Star on March 7. Pau faces Bastia on March 6.
