CONSTANTINE, Algeria (Interstat) — CS Constantine earned a 2-0 victory over ES Setif in an Algerian Ligue 1 match Friday at Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui.

Midfielder Nassim L’Ghoul scored both goals for the hosts in a six-minute span late in the second half, finding the net in the 70th and 76th minutes. Defender Chamseddine Derradji assisted on the second goal. Both scorers also received yellow cards shortly after their respective contributions.

The result improved Constantine’s league record to eight wins, five losses and six draws, while Setif fell to four wins, six losses and seven draws. Constantine avenged a 2-1 loss to Setif from their previous meeting in September.
