KIGALI, Rwanda (Interstat) — Al Hilal Omdurman began its CAF Champions League season with a 1-0 win over FC Saint-Eloi Lupopo on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at a neutral Amahoro Stadium.

The match’s lone goal came in the 26th minute from defender Steven Ebuela, assisted by Joseph Douhadji. The contest was marred by discipline issues, as Lupopo’s Junior Marc Mendy and Al Hilal’s Salah Adil were both sent off with red cards in the 44th and 76th minutes, respectively. Five other players received yellow cards.

The result gave Al Hilal a winning start in the continental competition, while Lupopo began with a loss. The final score fell short of a Interstat projection that favored Al Hilal by a 95.6% probability to win.
