MODENA, Italy (March 21, 2026) (Interstat) — Modena opened its Serie B campaign with a 2-1 victory over Mantova on Saturday at Stadio Alberto Braglia.

Alessandro Sersanti gave the hosts an early lead in the 14th minute. Mantova defender Daniel Tonoli equalized just before the hour mark, scoring in the 59th minute. The decisive goal came from Modena substitute Davis Mensah, who netted the winner in the 81st minute. Three substitutes recorded assists in the physical match, which featured six yellow cards.
