BOLZANO, Italy (Interstat) — Suditrol and Pescara opened their Serie B campaigns with a 0-0 draw Sunday at Stadio Druso. The match, which failed to produce a goal, was defined by defensive stands and disciplinary issues.

Interstat’s pregame projections, which favored Suditrol with a 55.4% win probability and forecast a 1-1 scoreline, were upended by the stalemate. The game’s tempo was consistently interrupted by six yellow cards. A pivotal moment came in the 77th minute when Suditrol’s Fabian Tait received a straight red card, forcing the home side to finish a man down.

The result leaves both clubs with identical early records of 0 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw in league play this season.
