VINH LONG, Vietnam (Interstat) — Two Vietnamese Second Division clubs searching for consistency will meet Saturday, May 23, 2026, as Vinh Long hosts Khatoco Khanh Hoa.

Both teams enter the match following draws in their most recent outings on May 16. Vinh Long earned a 1-1 result on the road against Dong Thap. Khatoco Khanh Hoa played to a 2-2 home draw with CLB Bắc Ninh.

Khatoco Khanh Hoa’s season has been marked by a struggle to generate offense. The club has managed only four wins in its last 11 matches, with its most recent victory coming Nov. 1, 2025 (a 2-1 win over Xuân Thiện Phú Thọ). In five matches between that win and Saturday’s draw, the team posted two draws and three losses, scoring just two goals across that span. The club was shut out in three consecutive defeats in April and March, including a 1-0 loss to Cong An Nhan Dan on May 10.

Vinh Long has faced its own offensive difficulties. The club’s results have been mixed, with a 1-0 win over CLB Quảng Ninh on May 2, a 1-0 loss to CLB Trẻ TP Hồ Chí Minh on April 26, and a 1-0 loss to CLB Bắc Ninh on April 4. Vinh Long also was shut out in a 2-0 loss to CLB Thép Xanh Nam Định on Nov. 23, 2025.
