HANOI (Interstat) — David Fisher’s 12th-minute goal gave CLB Cong An Thanh Phố Hồ Chi Minh an early lead, but Nguyễn Tiến Linh equalized in the 86th minute Sunday at Sân vận động Hàng Đẫy as the teams played to a 1-1 draw in V.League 1 play.

Ha Nội, which entered with a 12-7-2 record in all competitions, pushed its unbeaten streak to three matches after a May 31 loss to Hoang Anh Gia Lai. The visiting side, now 8-9-5 overall, extended its winless run to four games after a draw with CLB Thể Cong - Viettel on May 31.

The result marked the second consecutive head-to-head meeting decided by a single goal; CLB Cong An Thanh Phố Hồ Chi Minh won 2-1 at home Aug. 16, 2025. Ha Nội improved to 12 wins, 7 losses and 2 draws in league play, while the visitors moved to 8-9-5. Neither team could break the deadlock after Linh’s strike, and a late flurry of chances from both sides produced no further scoring.
