ŞAMAXI, Azerbaijan (Interstat) — Şamaxı FK and Turan played to a scoreless draw in a Premyer Liqa match Monday at Şamaxı Şəhər Stadionu.

The result left both sides wanting after a tightly contested match where neither attack could break through. The lone notable action was a yellow card issued to Turan defender Alphonce Mabula in the 57th minute.

The draw extends Turan’s recent winless streak in league play to four matches. Şamaxı FK, meanwhile, earned a point but remains below .500 in the domestic competition. The teams last met in November, a 2-1 victory for Turan.
