DURRËS, Albania (Feb. 14, 2026) (Interstat) — Teuta Durres opened its season with a 2-1 victory over Bylis in Albanian 1st Division football Saturday at Stadiumi Niko Dovana.

The match featured two early goals, with Aurel Marku putting the hosts ahead in the 3rd minute only for Daniel Wotlai to equalize for Bylis in the 5th. The decisive strike came from Blerim Kotobelli in the 56th minute, securing the win for Teuta Durres.

The result defied a pre-match projection from Interstat, whose simulator had forecast a 1-1 draw. The firm’s ELO system, however, had given Teuta Durres an 80.40% probability to win. Teuta Durres begins the campaign at 1-0-0, while Bylis starts 0-0-1.
