Bylis vs Partizani Tirana

Preview: Bylis Aims to Halt Skid Against Visiting Partizani Tirana

BAJRAM CURRI, Albania (Interstat) — Two Albanian Superliga sides trending in opposite directions will meet Friday when Bylis hosts Partizani Tirana.

The match at the Bajram Curri Stadium pits a struggling Bylis side against a Partizani team finding its form. The visitors won the previous meeting this season, 1-0 in Tirana on Dec. 3.

Bylis (2-5-8) enters on a three-match losing streak across all competitions, having been outscored 4-0. Its most recent result was a 1-0 road loss to FC Dinamo City on Jan. 31. The club has secured just one win in its last 10 league matches, a 3-2 victory over KF Laçi on Jan. 10. Defensive consistency has been an issue, with Bylis conceding multiple goals in seven of those 10 games.

In contrast, Partizani Tirana (5-6-4) is unbeaten in its last two outings. It fought to a 2-2 draw with AF Elbasani on Jan. 31, preceded by a 2-1 victory over Teuta Durres on Jan. 19. The recent run offers a reprieve from a difficult stretch where the Tirana-based club lost four of five matches between Dec. 19 and Jan. 15.

The head-to-head history and current trajectories favor Partizani. Beyond December’s win, Partizani has lost just once to Bylis in their last 10 encounters across all competitions.

A key tactical battle will unfold in midfield, where Partizani will look to control possession and isolate Bylis’s defense. Bylis must find a spark in attack after failing to score in three consecutive matches.

The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.

Following Friday’s contest, Bylis will quickly turn around to host Vllaznia Shkoder on Tuesday. Partizani’s next match is at home against KF Tirana on Feb. 15.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. local time (1300 GMT).
