ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands (Interstat) — Lion Heart and One Love United played to a 2-2 draw Sunday in a BVIFA National League match at A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground.

The result extended One Love United’s struggles in league play, leaving them with just one win this season. Lion Heart, which entered the match with a stronger record, also saw its form stall with the split points. The clubs played a similarly close match earlier this season, a 3-2 Lion Heart victory on Oct. 5.

Claudius Felix opened the scoring in the 51st minute for Lion Heart. The match defied a pregame statistical projection that heavily favored the home side to win. The draw leaves both teams seeking more consistent results as the league season continues.
