BARNET, England (Interstat) — Kabongo Tshimanga’s 81st-minute strike delivered a 1-0 road victory for Barnet over Accrington Stanley in a League Two match Tuesday at Wham Stadium. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored the hosts.

Interstat’s game simulator had predicted a 1-1 draw, and its ELO system gave Accrington Stanley a 69.2 percent probability to win. Barnet, however, secured a clean sheet despite a 36th-minute yellow card to Seamus Conneely for the home side.

The win gives Barnet a perfect start in League Two play at 1-0, while Accrington Stanley begins its campaign 0-1. Both clubs see their overall season records mirror those league marks.
