TABRIZ, Iran (Interstat) — Mahdi Hashemnezhad’s 34th-minute goal Sunday propelled Tractor Sazi FC to a 1-0 victory over Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan Novin in Persian Gulf Pro League play at Yadegar-e-Emam Stadium.

The result extended Tractor Sazi’s undefeated streak in the league this season to 13 matches, with 10 wins and three draws. The home side now holds a season sweep over Foolad, having also won the earlier meeting 2-1 in September.

Foolad, which has now lost four of its last five league matches, failed to find an equalizer. The outcome aligned with a pregame statistical projection that heavily favored Tractor Sazi to win.
