VALENCIA, Spain (Feb. 4, 2026) (Interstat) — AC Bilbao W defeated Valencia CF 2-1 in a Copa del Rey match Wednesday at Estadio de Mestalla. The visitors defied a late surge to secure the victory.

Forward Sadiq Umar powered AC Bilbao W with two first-half goals, scoring in the 26th and 35th minutes. His performance provided a cushion that held until deep into stoppage time.

Substitute Iñaki Williams pulled one back for the home side in the sixth minute of added time, assisted by Diego López. López received a yellow card moments after the goal. The result improved AC Bilbao W’s record in the competition to 1-0, while Valencia CF fell to 0-1. The outcome exceeded statistical projections that favored the visitors.
