CAIRO (Interstat) — ENPPI delivered a stunning upset Sunday, routing host Petrojet 4-0 in an Egyptian League Cup match at Petrosport Stadium in Kattameya. The victory defied a pregame projection that gave Petrojet an 82% probability to win.

All four goals came from second-half substitutes, dismantling Petrojet in a 13-minute span. Ahmed Khalil Kalosha opened the scoring in the 51st minute, followed by Mohamed Sherif Hathout in the 55th. Hamed Abdalla netted in the 67th and Ali Mahmoud completed the barrage in the 74th.

Midfielder Ammar Hamdy and forward Sékou Sonko each recorded two assists for ENPPI. Both teams finished with two yellow cards. The result marked a perfect start to the cup campaign for ENPPI, while Petrojet seeks its first win.
