BUDAPEST, Hungary (Interstat) — Soroksar SC rallied from an early deficit to defeat Kozarmisleny 3-2 in a Hungarian NB II match on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, at Szamosi Mihály Sporttelep.

The visitors struck immediately, with Kevin Korozmán finding the net just three minutes into the contest to give Kozarmisleny a rapid lead. That advantage held through the remainder of the first half, putting pressure on the home side.

The match transformed dramatically after halftime. Soroksar’s Zoltán Gálfi leveled the score in the 49th minute, igniting the home supporters. The comeback was completed nine minutes later when Csongor Lakatos scored to give Soroksar a 2-1 lead.

Kozarmisleny responded quickly, as Roland Vajda equalized in the 67th minute to set up a tense finale. However, Soroksar found a winner just seven minutes later, with Dániel Horváth netting the decisive goal in the 74th minute to secure all three points for the hosts.

The result defied the pre-match projections from Interstat, whose game simulator had predicted a 2-1 Soroksar victory while its ELO rating system gave Kozarmisleny a slight 50.30 percent probability to win.

The victory improved Soroksar SC’s record in NB II competition to 4 wins, 10 losses and 6 draws this season. Across all competitions, the club now stands at 7 wins, 10 losses and 6 draws. The loss leaves Kozarmisleny with a league record of 6 wins, 7 losses and 7 draws, and an overall mark of 7 wins, 8 losses and 8 draws.

The match was a reversal of the teams’ previous meeting this season, which ended in a 1-1 draw on Aug. 17, 2025.

Kozarmisleny entered the contest in stronger recent form, having won two of its last three league matches, including a 3-0 victory over Mezokovesd-Zsory on Feb. 15. Soroksar, meanwhile, had been seeking its first league win since Feb. 8, having suffered two consecutive losses.

Looking ahead, Kozarmisleny will continue its NB II campaign at home against Szeged-Csanad on Sunday, March 1. Soroksar SC faces a road test at Mezokovesd-Zsory on the same date.
